Walking in wearing custom sweatshirts.

This year, for mental health awareness week, the CU Buffaloes walked into their 13th game of the season against the Oregon State Beavers, wearing customized crewnecks and hoodies for âKatieâs Save.â Which was written on the frontside, with a heart, of each sweatshirt. On the back of the sweatshirts had the message,âYou Are Loved.â Katieâs Save is an organization that was created from the loss of Stanford women's soccer goalie, Katie Meyer.
If you wish to find and learn more about Katie's Save, I've linked everything below.
âWhile not every player had one of these, they still all had their own way of representing awareness for mental health. â Other players such as Phoenix Miranda had the message âLove Never Gives Up,â on the front of a gray hoodie with green font, and Bella Grust, âhappiness project,â written in rainbow.

The NBA started their season off this past week, which included the championship ring ceremony for the Golden State Warriors. Just prior to the start of their first game of the new season.
âThe Golden State Warriors played in their first game of the season, and only the second game of the whole NBA season. Started off the Los Angeles Lakers vs the Golden State Warriors at their home, Chase Center in Mission Bay, San Francisco.
It was ring night for the Warriors, as they had held a pre-game ceremony to where they received their championship ring, from last seasons win. The fans even got a little something to take home, a championship t-shirt.
But, of course you know I had not forgotten about the walk-in fits.
The Warriors got on button down collared all white championship shirts with gold embroidery. The team warmed up in them and wow do they look good! Paired them with the teams blue nike sweatpants, with yellow straps down the side.
A lot of clips and attention went to Stephen Curry as he won the âNBA Finals MVP Award and an NBA All-Star Game MVP Award.
The F1 Night Race, a weekend race in Singapore is an event of its own. With three days of live music from amazing headlining artists to the formula 1 race. The weekend is action packed. Not to mention the outfits too.
Starting off with the best, Lewis Hamilton came in to the SingaporeGP looking fly and fresh. With a floral purple printed shirt with a blue base and ballon fitted dress pants that match the printed floral color purple on his shirt.
While I'm always all for the outfits, George Russell came rolling in sitting on the back of a very nice vintage car. A 1971, 280 SL Mercedes.
While also repping his new custom Japanese merch with his number, 63 on the chest.
Sergio Perez took the win in his navy blue RedBull jumpsuit with red lettering.
They ended the weekend off with a concert with an awesome line up of Green Day, the kid laroi and the black eyed peas.
This 2022-23 season, the Buffs got a fresh new look. CU unveils a new court at the Events Center, and the women's basketball team have newly designed Nike uniforms. â As you mightâve already seen from watching the womenâs volleyball games, the court has a new design, from last semester. The court's design is a liking of the beautiful Boulder flatirons. As they had before an outline of the mountains on one width end, inside the boundary line of the court previously. They now have vertical and horizontal lines that cross along either end width of the court's sidelines. I believe this gives the court a fresh new and clean sleek look, while keeping the basis theme /emphasis of the CU court overall. It is really âout with the old, [and] in with the newâ. While putting in the new, they kept some things the same. As last yearâs court had read âColorado Buffaloesâ on either end, and this year they have it split up, on each end, one side reads âColoradoâ and the opposite âBuffaloesâ.
( As you can see from the image below, of what the old court was.)
The CU women's basketball team got a fresh new look for the 2022-23 season with newly designed uniforms by Nike. That is a match in relation to the new court, with the neck and shoulder sleeves brims having lines that mimic the boulder flatiron's crossings on the new court's width.
CU women's basketball season opener will be on Monday, November 7th. Along with CU Menâs basketball also playing their first season game against UC Riverside at the CU Events Center. |
